Zendesk Pricing in 2026: The Right Plan for How Your Team Actually Works
Choosing a Zendesk plan is no longer about counting seats. The plan and add-ons you pick decide how much your team automates, how fast customers get answers, and how far your setup scales before it needs rebuilding.
We assess how your support runs today and recommend exactly what you need now nothing you won’t use.

Suite plans
How much does Zendesk cost?
Every team we implement starts on Zendesk Suite. Prices are per agent, per month, billed annually.
Suite Team
US$55
per agent / month
Teams unifying email, chat, social and voice for the first time.
- Omnichannel routing
- Messaging and live chat
- Help centre
- Entry-level AI agents
Watch out for: One help centre, no SLAs, limited reporting. Fine at 5 agents, restrictive at 25.
Most chosen
Suite Professional
US$115
per agent / month
Scaling teams of 10 to 100 agents. The plan we implement most.
- Skills-based routing
- SLAs and custom forms
- Real-time analytics
- Advanced AI features
Watch out for: Usage-based AI resolution charges beyond plan allowances. We model this before you buy.
Suite Enterprise
Talk to us
scoped per deal
Regulated industries, multi-brand setups, 40+ agents.
- Sandbox environments
- Custom roles and audit logs
- Advanced data protection
- Copilot included
Watch out for: Sales-only and scoped individually, which is exactly when independent guidance matters most.
Zendesk’s published USD list prices as at July 2026, billed annually. Monthly billing costs more. Zendesk also sells a US$19 email-only Support Team plan; we do not recommend it, because teams outgrow it within months and upgrading later costs more than starting on Suite. Zendesk bills in USD at the same rate worldwide. See what that means outside Australia.
Outside Australia?
Zendesk pricing is the same USD rate worldwide, so every number on this page holds wherever you are. Our 60-second estimator works for New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and the rest of APAC. We are a Zendesk Premier Partner based in Melbourne, working hours that overlap every APAC time zone, and we invoice licences in USD, the same currency Zendesk bills in.
Buying Zendesk is a strategic decision, not a procurement one.
The plan and add-ons you choose determine how work flows through your support operation: what gets automated, what your agents can do, and how far the setup scales before it needs rebuilding. Get it right and Zendesk compounds in value every quarter. Get it wrong and you’re renegotiating in six months.
That’s why we don’t just process licence orders. Before you buy, a Premier Partner who has run 150+ implementations assesses how your team works today, where it’s heading, and maps that to the right plan, seat mix, and add-ons what you need now, with a clear view of what to add later and when.

Add-ons
Zendesk add-on pricing

Best for: Teams chasing consistency and faster handle times.
Workforce Management
US$50
per agent / month
AI forecasting, scheduling, and automatic QA scoring of every conversation. WFM and Quality Assurance together.
Best for: Teams of 20+ with fluctuating volume.
Contact Center
US$50
per agent / month

Best for: Voice-first support teams.
Cost drivers
What actually drives your Zendesk cost
Four things decide the number on your invoice, and only one of them is the sticker price.
01
Agent seats
The base multiplier. Admins, light agents and contributors do not all need full seats. Role mapping is the fastest way to cut spend.
02
Plan tier
The US$55 versus US$115 question. The answer is not features on a page, it is which features your workflows will actually use in the first 12 months.
03
AI usage
Automated resolutions beyond your plan allowance are billed on consumption. Good ROI when scoped, budget shock when not.
04
Billing term
Annual and multi-year terms change both the economics and the commitment. The right term depends on how settled your support strategy is.
Hidden costs in Zendesk pricing
Zendesk’s plan pricing includes many features, but there are extra costs you should be aware of before making a decision.
Onboarding, implementation, and training are the most common extra expenses, especially for mid-market and enterprise teams with complex support needs. Data storage, enhanced data protection, and some integrations may incur additional fees depending on your plan.
Knowing about these costs upfront lets Australian businesses budget accurately and avoid surprises down the track. The good news is that Zendesk’s free training library covers a lot of ground for teams willing to invest the time.

How to choose the right plan
Match the plan to your size, your support complexity and your budget. Higher tiers unlock genuinely useful tools, but only some teams will use enough of them to justify the step up.
Small businesses and startups
The Support Team plan, at US$19 per agent per month, covers basic support needs: ticket management and a simple knowledge base. If you need live chat from the start, Suite Team at US$55 per agent each month is the better option.
Growing Australian businesses
Suite Growth at US$89 per agent each month is the most popular choice. It combines SLA management, self-service tools and the reporting growing teams need, without the cost of a full enterprise plan.
Mid-market organisations
Suite Professional at US$115 per agent each month handles complex, multi-channel customer interactions. We help Australian mid-market teams work out whether AI features will earn their keep at their team size and ticket volume.
Medium to large enterprises
Suite Enterprise is built for high ticket volumes, complex configurations and enterprise security requirements. For businesses in financial services, government or healthcare it also carries the compliance features regulated industries need.

How much does Zendesk cost per agent?
Zendesk Suite costs between US$55 and US$115+ per agent, per month on annual billing. Suite Team is US$55, Suite Professional US$115, and Suite Enterprise is custom-priced. Add-ons like Copilot are US$50 per agent/month extra. A US$19 email-only Support plan exists, but most growing teams need Suite from day one.
Is it more expensive to buy Zendesk through a partner?
No. You pay Zendesk’s standard pricing. The difference is what surrounds the purchase: an assessment of what your business actually needs, a licensing recommendation with reasoning, and a partner who stays accountable through implementation, renewals, and upgrades.
Does Zendesk charge in Australian dollars?
No. Zendesk bills in USD (it supports USD, EUR, GBP, and BRL), at the same rate worldwide. For businesses across Australia, NZ and APAC that means your cost moves with your local exchange rate. We factor this into cost modelling and can advise on contract structures that reduce the exposure.
What’s the difference between Support and Suite plans?
Support plans cover email ticketing only. Suite plans add messaging, live chat, voice, help centre, and AI agents the full omnichannel platform. This is why we only recommend and resell Suite: every team we’ve implemented has needed at least one channel beyond email within the first year.
Is annual billing worth it?
Almost always. Annual billing is significantly cheaper than monthly, and Zendesk offers further discounts on multi-year terms. Monthly makes sense only if you’re genuinely unsure about the platform in which case, start with the free trial instead.
How do I estimate AI resolution costs?
AI-powered automated resolutions beyond your plan allowance are billed on usage. The estimate depends on ticket volume and what share is automatable we model this from your actual ticket data before you commit.
Do you have to buy implementation from Gravity to buy licences through Gravity?
No. Licensing and implementation are separate. Plenty of clients buy licences through us and self-implement you still get renewal support and a partner on call.
